“Aquarela do Brasil” (Watercolor of Brazil), known in the English-speaking world simply as “Brazil”, is one of the most famous Brazilian songs, written by Ary Barroso in 1939.
As performed by Antonio Carlos Jobim from Stone Flower, recorded in March, April, and May 1970 by Rudy Van Gelder at Van Gelder Studios and produced by Creed Taylor, the album was released in 1970 on CTI Records.
